Coach Brandon Tucker Appointed National Director of Defensive Line Scouting for the Starts Up Front National & Global Recruiting Board
Accomplished Texas-based defensive-line specialist and Trench Warfare co-founder brings more than 15 years of development experience and an extensive national football network to SUFRB.
September 16, 2026 — The Starts Up Front National & Global Recruiting Board proudly announces the appointment of Coach Brandon “Tuck” Tucker as its National Director of Defensive Line Scouting.
Tucker is a nationally recognized defensive-line development and pass-rush specialist based in Plano, Texas. He serves as co-owner and co-founder of Trench Warfare, where he is identified as the organization’s Defensive Line Player Development Specialist. Trench Warfare provides position-specific training for offensive and defensive linemen at the youth, high-school, collegiate and professional levels.
For more than 15 years, Tucker has built a reputation for developing defensive linemen through a detailed understanding of pass-rush technique, body positioning, hand usage, leverage, block destruction, counter moves and situational awareness.
His training philosophy is built around the proprietary “3W Training System”: understanding what to do, when to do it and why to do it. This approach extends beyond teaching individual moves by helping athletes recognize offensive-line sets, anticipate protection schemes and apply the appropriate technique under competitive conditions.
Tucker’s national influence is reflected in the extensive list of professional athletes associated with Trench Warfare. The organization identifies numerous NFL and professional alumni, including DeMarcus Lawrence, Aldon Smith, Montez Sweat, Solomon Thomas, Maliek Collins, Taco Charlton, Neville Gallimore, L.J. Collier, Poona Ford and several others. Trench Warfare’s official website also highlights Tucker’s work with high-school prospects, collegiate players, NFL Draft candidates and established professional athletes.
A 2025 partnership announcement from Phenom Elite further documented the reach of Tucker’s training platform. According to the company, Tucker has worked with more than 200 professional athletes, contributed to the development of 18 first-round selections across five NFL drafts and helped high-school clients earn more than 1,100 scholarship opportunities. The announcement identified Travon Walker, Will Anderson Jr., Tyree Wilson and Byron Murphy among the professional players who have trained under his direction. Phenom Elite also noted Tucker’s work at elite performance facilities such as EXOS in Plano and Scottsdale and APEC in Fort Worth.
Tucker’s Annual Pass Rush School has developed into a prominent instructional platform for defensive linemen seeking advanced technical development and national exposure. Through Trench Warfare’s camps, training sessions, college tours and evaluation opportunities, Tucker has established relationships across Texas and throughout the national high-school, collegiate and professional football communities.
As National Director of Defensive Line Scouting, Tucker will help lead SUFRB’s identification, evaluation and promotion of premier defensive-line prospects throughout the country. He will collaborate with national directors, regional scouts, state directors, coaches and evaluators to establish consistent standards for defensive tackle, nose tackle, defensive end and edge prospects.
His responsibilities will include evaluating game film, verified measurements, technical proficiency, athletic traits, production, competitive performance and long-term developmental potential. Tucker will also contribute to SUFRB rankings, camp evaluations, national watch lists, player spotlights and the identification of underexposed defensive linemen who deserve greater recruiting recognition.
Tucker’s appointment gives SUFRB access to a rare combination of technical expertise and national relationships. His experience developing athletes from youth football through the professional level will help the board distinguish between early physical dominance and the transferable skills required for long-term success.
His Texas presence also strengthens SUFRB’s expanding footprint in one of the most competitive and talent-rich football regions in the country. Through Tucker’s leadership, SUFRB will be positioned to identify defensive-line prospects throughout Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Central Texas, East Texas and surrounding states while maintaining a truly national evaluation structure.
The appointment of Coach Brandon Tucker represents another major step in SUFRB’s commitment to assembling a respected leadership team composed of knowledgeable coaches, scouts, trainers and football professionals who understand trench play.
The Starts Up Front National & Global Recruiting Board proudly welcomes Coach Brandon “Tuck” Tucker as its National Director of Defensive Line Scouting.
